Rear Window - 8/10

Another suspense classic from Alfred Hitchcock, finally getting a chance to enjoy it. Maybe because of the high-definition version, the color sense of the film makes me feel that this is a film from the 1950s. The director's skill in laying the groundwork for the storyline is absolutely unprecedented, and the witty dialogue interspersed in some links is also applauded. There are several places where I actually laughed out loud when I saw it myself. The second half of the film's climax is even more uncomfortable and tense. With the textbook design of the camera, it is still enjoyable to look back on after watching it. In addition, the performances of both the protagonists and supporting roles in the film are impeccable, and the beauty of Grace Kelly amazes me even more!

However, this isn't the best Hitchcock movie I've seen so far, and in terms of horror, I still think Psycho is better!

PS After watching this film, I feel that Disturbia is just a low-level imitation like a kid. .
