An irrelevant movie review

The sci-fi elements, action scenes, theology, allegory and other issues involved in the film are very interesting to me. However, due to lack of talent and knowledge, I can't do a penetrating analysis, so I want to briefly talk about the associations triggered by this film.

In fact, I have always had a question, why people can only see the main line of his life, but not the world of others. I think this question is very dangerous, and I am afraid that if I ask too much, I will confuse myself and get into some kind of crisis. But I'm really curious as to why I'm a small ventilator that shows society.

I often wonder what the life trajectory of my family and friends is like, and how many people have the same confusion as me. I was thinking, why did God choose me to present it from this perspective? How do the connections I make with other people—whether innate or later developed—are present in other people’s lives? Then I want to know where the future of human beings leads, where do people go after death, will the earth really be destroyed, will I find someone I like and grow old together, when I suffer some pain in the future (the death of a relative, war , violence...), what was I like back then, and how would I deal with it? Will I be a successful person? Why can't I see other people's lives the same way I see myself through a mirror?

I often feel lonely, pessimistic, and puzzled. I envy people who can write and direct such excellent films. I think they know a lot and think ahead, and then realize that they are ordinary and must first ensure basic material life. At the same time, slowly learn about yourself, others, society, and the world. I felt my own insignificance, aware of the brilliance and vastness of society. I feel lucky, and at the same time sigh why I was born ordinary, but I have accepted the script that was set, and I think I have to work hard to create my own stage performance.

This film reminds me once again that I have to look at the world from a different perspective, because the world is too colorful, and the people in it are individual but ordinary or even mediocre. Our thoughts are always complex, like a mix of history with the characteristics of the times and individuals. I am amazed at the creative ability of this team, because it shows this situation, shows the questions and conjectures of the times about the future, and expresses with great personality.

Now I like watching movies more and more, and I also dabble in documentaries, because this world is worth exploring, and studying at university has stimulated my curiosity. At the same time, I also realized that I can't just rely on reading to understand. The intuitive visual experience also helps to expand my understanding and enrich my imagination. I believe that when I read countless films, I will have a different opinion.

Lock's Lieutenant: Sir, their EMP could take out every sentinel up there.

Lock: It'll take out more than that. It'll wipe out our entire defense system. We blow an EMP inside there, we'll lose the dock.

Lock's Lieutenant: Sir, we *already* lost the dock.
