Humanity is terrible

A no-nonsense Cold War-themed film, presented with dark humor. While being amused by the cold humor from time to time, it is also thought-provoking. Ingenuity: In the film, except for a female secretary who has no important role, all of them are played by men. At the beginning, the general and the female secretary, the nude photos of women, and the ratio of men to women in the doomsday bunker after General Bart is 1:10. Desires are ironic with male cues. In the discussion on the topic of nuclear bomb war, whether it is the cabin of the B-52 bomber, the hall of the military conference, and the office of the military base, everyone speaks their own words, and they come and go to reflect the estrangement of the Cold War. As well as a finishing touch in the film, Peter Sellers played the three roles of Dr. Strangelove, who is good at encouraging speeches and exaggerated body movements, the bald president who has no opinion and confusion, and the deputy commander of the air force base from the United Kingdom. Through humorous and comical methods, it satirizes that decision makers use war as a means to vent their selfish desires, and reflects a sense of anxiety about the harm caused by nuclear war to the people.

There are not many intersections, and I have not been able to appreciate the metaphorical places that everyone said. But Hitler's gestures, the cigar general with his face up, the plane refueling, the lovely general, the Russian ambassador, and the girl-like president gave me a very funny delusion. I don't understand the Cold War, but the refueling of planes and the explosion of nuclear bombs are reminiscent of people.

Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb quotes

  • General Jack D. Ripper: Now, I don't *avoid* women, Mandrake, but I *do* deny them my essence!

  • Lieutenant Lothar Zogg: Major Kong, is it possible this is some kind of loyalty test, you know, give the go-code and, then, recall, to see who would actually go?

Major T. J. "King" Kong: Ain't nobody ever got the go-code yet. And ol' Ripper wouldn't given us Plan R unless them Russkies had already clobbered Washington and a lot of other towns with a sneak attack.
