still scary

This film has many clues and progresses, which is very exciting. The love and career of the exorcist couple runs through. Their conversation kept repeating why they were together, "God made it meaningful for us to be together" the original words forgot to imply some kind of destiny ~ and in the film they managed to drive away the devil; a ragdoll from the end of the film to the end It's always gripping, and the other toys (there's a rotating mirror in the tiny house) naturally have a special meaning. The Rogers and their five children have been at the residence since the beginning, the youngest child has seen something (and of course the dog) The youngest girl is clearly not too afraid of ghost boys and can play and communicate together ; Sleepwalking, harassed in her sleep, and dying animals. Roger's wife Caroline's clue is even more obvious, with more and more scars on her body. What's interesting is another dark clue: the beliefs of the Rogers, they don't believe in ghosts or anything like that, that's why they don't pursue it even though they feel that something is wrong in the house (Roger found that the dog won't enter the house and the pigeons Dying abnormally, and his wife was talking to his youngest daughter, who had said strange things and bruises on her body, which they didn't care too much about) until they found out for themselves that there was something in the house~ The change of faith is the dark thread (I don't mean that the Rogers have since believed in God, but they at least believed in ghosts) and these threads are intertwined until the sublimation part of the film exorcism and devil confrontation. Does this film leave no suspense and foreshadowing. But the supernatural objects in the house full of exorcists may burst out one day~ How can those devils be willing to be with this? After all, the film didn't cost much so I can't fault its background music. If the background music is in line with the storyline, it's a perfect match.

I didn't dare to turn off the light after sleeping for two days. The strong man in the cinema also screamed in fright. But when I think about it carefully, only one dog and one bird died in the whole film.

A totally overrated horror film that combines the themes of "haunted house" and "exorcist" (mainly paying tribute to "The Changeling" (The Changeling), right?), tracking and shooting from room to room in the house, There is a sense of being there. The narrative rhythm is methodical, so that the audience does not relax and tighten the nerves between occasional breaths. The two actresses convey love and courage respectively.

The Conjuring quotes

  • [last lines]

Lorraine Warren: The Vatican approved the exorcism.

    Ed Warren: [scoffs] Nice timing.

Lorraine Warren: And, if we can, then he'd like to meet with us tomorrow. There's a case in Long Island he'd like to discuss.

    Ed Warren: Really?

  • Ed Warren: Diabolical forces are formidable. These forces are eternal, and they exist today. The fairy tale is true. The devil exists. God exists. And for us, as people, our very destiny hinges upon which one we elect to follow.
