"The Conjuring" is the fourth installment in the Wen Ziren series I've watched. The rhythm control is as good as ever, the plot is not procrastinated, and there is no thought of fast-forwarding or double-speeding during the whole process. Unlike the bloody and violent jump scared of most Western works, the plot of "The Conjuring" rarely uses these elements. The horror of horror films does not depend entirely on straightforward horror. The actors' language, demeanor, and behavior are driven by lighting effects and atmosphere. It also causes some psychological fear. Using the details and step-by-step rhythm to let the horror infiltrate quietly, the viewers slowly enter, becoming more and more nervous.
Personally, I think the plot is a little mediocre, but the fact that it is based on reality is enough to make people creepy.
Camera movements and scene transitions are smooth and religious.
After reading it, there are still a few points: 1. The exorcism process is too simple, the content of the first part is relatively large, and the ending seems a little awkward. 2. The doll is mentioned at the beginning and in the middle of the film, but the end does not go further, and there is no further explanation of what the heroine saw during the exorcism.
But there is a second part, these foreshadowings should be used, looking forward to it!
