Real good movie

I have to say that this is a good movie. It was the first time that I spent two hours in front of the computer in so many days since the long Chinese New Year holiday, and I felt that it was worth the money. I would not regret why I chose movies instead of sleeping to pass the time. Real stories, well-performed performances, good connotations, and possessing these are enough conditions for me to have a good movie.
I won’t write much about the comments, but I strongly recommend everyone to read it, because the reason is very real.
The two scenes are impressive. One is the quarrel between the retired old chief and Ray at the end. In order to maintain the status and integrity of the family, the old policeman who has adhered to the professional ethics of his life has to give up his glory and dignity, and in turn persuades his son to put family interests first. Ride through the difficulties together with everyone. A retired police chief will not ruin his wise life for the benefit, money, or reputation, but for the sake of his family, he will disregard justice, reputation, and everything, just thinking about how to protect each of his children. How to make up for the Louzi they stabbed one by one. Little do they know that children have grown up, they have their own judgments of good and evil, and they have to pay for their actions.
The second is that in the end, two policemen robbed the supermarket, which caused anger and resentment. The attacking scene was surrounded by black people who were usually bullied. When I read this passage, I somehow remembered the term "push-ups" that was very popular last year. Not much to talk about, the film is a film after all, and it cannot be higher than life, so in the end it is always necessary to turn the cloud to see the perfection of the sky. Of course, it is said that there is another ending. I think the director might also consider our "push-up" humor with Chinese characteristics. Wouldn't it be more interesting to add this ending to a happy comedy?
Edward Norton's performance in the play is also a highlight. The low-key loneliness and introverted style from "Fighting Club", coupled with a bit of wisdom and humor, are very consistent with the image of the youngest, most talented, spoiled and somewhat idealistic policeman Ray in the family. The slightly delicate and thin external image also makes him seem a little out of place among a bunch of tough policemen, but it reflects the tough side of being a lone traveler and a minority.
Of course, the film is not without flaws. For example, the negative characters are too crazy, and several criminal policemen are somewhat facialized. Swear words and exaggerated behavior. At any rate, it is also the old world in the place, and it has always been in contact with the underworld. It takes such a great effort. So many people drove and rammed the streets, and even the captain went out and used the baby as a threat to ask the murderer. And Ray, who hadn't worked hard for several years, got the same address from a street gangster with ease. It's really incredible.
In any case, this is a true style movie, and it is worth watching.
