Shocking special effects, mediocre plot

Star Trek has always lost to Star Wars in the war scene. Of course, this is not where it focuses on portraying.

I don't think this Star Trek is as good as the last one. Only the technical innovation of the special effects screen, the fullness of the plot is far less shocking than the previous one.

I've always thought that when Star Trek got closer to Star Wars, that's when Star Trek lost itself.

This Star Trek, instead of portraying the spirit of scientific exploration, focuses on the emotional drama of the two male protagonists. You save me, I save you, and finally you save me. It's just too clichéd.

If it weren't for the charm of the villain, this Star Trek might only have the special effects as a highlight.
