During the exploration of the planet Nibiru, Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) of the USS Enterprise made a bold move to rescue Spock (Zachary Quinto), which almost endangered the entire fleet. He also paid the price for his life. Soon Officer Kirk was reinstated, and a terrorist attack in London killed more than forty people. The initiator of the incident, John Harrison (Benedict Cumberbatch), is coming from within the league. He then attacked the high-level meeting with his plane, and Kirk's most respected General Pike was killed. In order to stop Harrison's escape conspiracy, Kirk led the Enterprise to set off in pursuit again. During the crisis-ridden journey, the trust between him and the crew and friends was also greatly tested.
