Everyone has a desire for recognition, but when they are self-exiled, looking at the world seems like a dream that is out of place. When can I wake up, then be alive?
For me, there are two biggest tears in the play: one is Patrick toasting Charlie at the party: Everyone raise your glasses to Charlie. We didn't think there was anyone cool left to meet. One was Charlie standing up for Patrick in the cafeteria: Touch my friend and I'll blind you.
Who said, All the splendor in the world is not worth a good friend.
The so-called growth is a process of gaining more than losing. To Charlie, To Our Youth.
There are too many classics in the play, I don't know how the director positioned the thoughts of young children so delicately. There are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people, which is why even the most outgoing and outgoing people feel lonely at times. Just like Sam.
I have to say that the most famous in the play is Sam, the most important is Charlie, and the most outstanding is Patrick. More or less, we can all find some of our own shadows from these three. Then I was so moved by this film.
A collection of my favorite lines from this film:
I didn't think anyone noticed me.
We didn't think there was anyone cool left to meet.
You've gotta be kidding me.
If you fail me, you get me next semester.
Why do I and everyone I love pick people who treat us like we're nothing?
We accept the love that we think we deserve.
You can't just sit there and put everybody's lives ahead of yours, and think that counts as love.
There are people who forget what it's like to be 16 when they turn to 17.
I know these will all be stories someday.
And our pictures will become old photographs.
And we'll all become someone's mom or dad.
But right now, these moments are not stories.
This is happening.
I'm here, and I'm looking at her, and she is so beautiful.
I can see it.
This one moment when you know you are not a sad story.
You're alive. You stand up and see the lights on buildings and everything that makes you wonder.
And you're listening to the song on that drive, with the people you love most in the world.
And in this moment, we are infinite.
