patrick's always been so rude, so it took me a while to figure out what was going on. He started secretly dating Brad on weekends when he was a sophomore in high school, and I don't think it's easy. Because every time they made out, Brad got drunk. When I got to school on Monday, Brad would say, man, I'm so drunk I don't remember anything. This went on for seven months. When they finally did, Brad said he was in love with Patrick. Then he started crying. No matter what Patrick does, Brad keeps saying that his dad will kill him and that he will definitely go to hell. Patrick eventually helped Brad quit drinking. I asked patrick if he would be sad because he still has to be sneaky, and he said no, because at least now Brad doesn't have to say he loves him when he's drunk. I think I can understand because I like sam a lot. I asked my sister about her and she said that when sam was a freshman, seniors used to get her drunk at parties. I guess she might not have a good reputation. But I don't care because I wouldn't want her to judge me by my past. I'm recording a compilation tape for her to let her know how I feel.
Patrick:
I just hope she doesn't play dumb with those guys anymore. I kept telling her not to be so humble, but she was hopeless.
-Charlie asked his Chinese teacher:
Why do some good people date the wrong people? -Teacher
: We only accept the love we think we deserve.
-Charlie: Let them know they deserve better?
- Teacher: You can try it.
Sam:
Like a sexy liberal arts boy. I see mary and elizebath looking at you
Charlie: No way.
Sam: Pretending to be innocent, this kind of boy is the worst. Never feel that you are dangerous, and you are liked by your parents, which is especially dangerous.
Charle: But, it never worked.
Sam: Have you never had a girlfriend? Didn't you have it when you were a kid?
Charlie: No.
Sam: Have you ever kissed a girl?
Charlie shook his head: where are you?
Sam: I was 11 and his name was Robert, and he used to come here all the time.
Charlie: Is he your first boyfriend?
Sam: He's...he's my dad's boss.
You know what, charlie. I've slept with men who didn't take me seriously, and I was always drunk. But now I feel that I finally have a chance, and I can even be admitted to university.
Charlie: You absolutely can.
Sam: Do you really think so?
Charlie: My aunt had the same thing, but she managed to change her life.
Sam: She must be a wonderful person.
Charlie: She's my favorite person in the world, until now.
Sam: Then why do you never ask me out?
Charlie: I just thought you didn't want that
Sam: So what do you want
Charlie: I want you to be happy
Sam: Charlie, don't you get it? I can't feel it. It's really touching, but you can't just sit around and think about others before yourself and think that's love. I don't want to just be crushed by someone. I like someone who likes the real me.
Sam: I know the real you. I know I'm an introvert and I know I should learn to express. But if you know what's going on in my head a lot, you'll see what I mean, how alike we are, how similar our experiences are. You are not small, you are beautiful.
