Nicholas, a police officer with a 4 times higher arrest rate than his peers and a perfect resume. This is our hero.
He was sent to a small village called Sandford as a police officer after an accidental attack. This is where the story unfolds.
Nicholas, who had just arrived in Sandford, was out of tune with everyone. In London, everyone obeys the laws and regulations, and here, underages are blatantly drinking in bars, some people urinate everywhere, and some people even drink and drive under his nose, so Nicholas took them all back to the police station.
What followed was a series of unnatural deaths.
Two theatrical performers had their heads cut off because they hit a sign because they were going too fast.
Wholesaler was drunk and didn't turn off the gas valve, causing the house to burn and die.
Tim, was crushed to death by a spigot that fell from the top of the church.
Leslie Tiller fell and pierced his throat with his own scissors.
Nicholas shared his findings with his colleagues, arguing that it was not an accident but a murder. Because he was there when Leslie Tiller died. Instead, his colleagues blamed him for being suspicious, suspecting that he was the murderer. The sheriff told him that we in Sandford have had no murder records for 20 years.
Nicholas, convinced that he had the murderer's motive, went to the supermarket to arrest the manager. The result was unsuccessful.
In the evening, the killer sent by the supermarket manager was knocked out by Nicholas. The walkie-talkie on him revealed where the murderers were gathering.
This is the truth about those people who died unexpectedly. It's all man-made. The reason for their death was much simpler than Nicholas imagined.
Sandford's sewers are full of corpses.
I will not repeat the following content. Friends who like gunfights. In the second half of the film, Nicholas returned to the police station to take away all the guns that had been collected from the farm, and rode a white horse to the street to engage in gun battles with the citizens to arrest criminals. He single-handedly transformed the rural town of Sandford.
I don't think this movie is out of date because there is always something to watch in this movie. In the first half, police officer Nicholas and the small town are out of place, which makes people laugh. It is a tradition in our country to do as the locals do, and the blind pursuit of the law makes people feel impersonal. What follows is a sudden murder case, as well as a suspicious point discovered by Nicholas. The interaction between Nicholas and Danny in the middle is also very interesting. As the film progresses little by little, the truth is gradually revealed in front of us. We couldn't help but ask: """Are those people really damned for this?" We couldn't help applauding when they were arrested. That's the charm of this film. It's a high quality crime comedy movie.
