"1917" is this year's Oscar hit film, nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Cinematography and many other awards. It is one of the most promising films other than performance awards. By the way, this year's Oscars will be awarded on February 9th. You are welcome to make bold predictions, or you can just wait for the results to come out and verify.
There are already online 1080P resources for the online version of "1917". Although it is not full HD, it can be viewed on the computer. I pulled the film in the afternoon, and felt that the content was really lackluster. Maybe the First World War was too far away from me, and the friendship on the battlefield was too vulgar, so the film failed to impress me, but this film is one shot to the end (I suspect that there is a The technology of editing and editing, mentioned below) is not simple, especially the following points are too difficult in my opinion, with pictures to share with you:
The first point is that this mouse, whether it appeared accidentally or deliberately arranged by the crew, its walking route is not easy to control. Correspondingly, the lines and movements of the two actors will also change accordingly, and the photographer will also need to Adjusted the lens, did not shoot well, and re-shot the first half an hour.
The second point is the collapse of the tunnel. This is a fixed-point blasting, and it must be very precise. The actors did not go to the right place, the camera did not follow in place, and all the previous shots had to be retaken.
The third point is the shot of getting on the car here. The protagonist is pulled into the car by a comrade in arms, and the camera follows to get into the car. After getting in the car, the camera shoots the protagonist from the front left, which means that the photographer got on the car with the help of the soldier on the left. Later, the car got stuck in the mud, everyone got off and pushed the car, and the photographer added another movement of getting on and off the car, and the stability was very difficult to control.
The fourth point is while chatting in the car, the camera moves behind several soldiers. I don't see any need for movement in this set of shots, just to capture the protagonist's face? But this operation is very difficult, because the space is small, it is not easy to move, and at the same time to maintain stability. But this is also the scene with the most human traces in the film, and ordinary audiences can clearly feel the presence of the photographer.
The fifth point is to cross the river here. The protagonist has to climb the narrow bridge fence, and there are enemy soldiers shooting on the other side. Accidentally fell into the river, and re-shot it more than an hour ago. This should be an emotional point for the entire crew, because it's almost time for editing. After crossing the bridge, the protagonist kills the enemy soldiers, falls into a coma, and the screen enters a black screen for several seconds. This is the editing point of this film.
The sixth point is that the protagonist was chased by enemy soldiers, jumped from the bridge into the river, and the camera jumped down, which means that the photographer also jumped into the river and drifted with the protagonist.
The cameraman should have climbed into something like a kayak right away so the shots are in control. But in this process, it is also very difficult to keep the picture stable and ensure the composition is accurate.
The seventh point is that the photographer follows the protagonist to climb the mountain. Also stability. Originally, I thought it would be difficult for photographers to control their breathing, but later I thought it should be a post-muffling process.
The above seven points are some technical difficulties that I have roughly seen, welcome to add. Of course, these difficulties are in terms of the film itself. Compared with ordinary films, it is very difficult to take a few minutes, such as the arrangement of details, the scenes of other characters in the depths of the camera, and the appearance of a gangster on the ground. The gadget was swept away by the camera, and everything in front had to be retaken. This is very demanding on the execution of the crew.
But one (two) mirror in the end this form is really unnecessary, in my opinion, it does not make the film more attractive. I don't really like movies that are purely showy.
