As far as the plot is concerned, "Suicide Squad" is more routine:
The government persuaded a group of heinous criminals to protect their families and the country in order to get a reduced sentence.
But as soon as it came up, the government was screwed, and the witches released were not only disobedient, but also destroyed the whole world.
The remaining criminals were sent to fight witches.
There are too many characters in the movie, and the only bright spot is the love between Harley Quinn and the Joker.
The Joker, a maddened, life-stomping demon.
We're always wondering what kind of experience made him so hateful of humanity.
More or less in our hearts we wonder, if someone could warm this person, would he not be so crazy.
And Harley Quinn, the one who tried to change the Joker.
Harley Quinn, formerly known as Harleen Quetzel, is the Joker's psychiatrist.
She didn't cure the Clown's mental illness, but instead fell in love with this crazy demon.
She doesn't blame the clown for using her, doesn't blame the clown for torturing her, doesn't hate the clown for abandoning her, and vows to be with him.
This paranoid love is almost masochistic and distorted, it is very unreasonable, but it is fascinating.
Facing the Joker's rejection, she confronted the Joker with a gun.
Seeing the clown indifferent, Harley said something heart-wrenching, "You are not afraid of guns, but you are afraid of my heart."
In order to get rid of her, the clown took her to the chemical factory and made her jump into the chemical pool from the 30-meter platform to prove her love.
Harlin jumped down without saying a word.
Her perseverance finally moved the Joker.
Since she couldn't make the clown change her evil ways, she went into the abyss of sin just to stay with him.
Since then, Dr. Harleen has transformed into Harley Quinn, the evil queen of Gotham City.
Harley Quinn's image before and after the transformation is stark.
When she was a female doctor, she wore light makeup, black-rimmed glasses, and long hair that was shawl or simply combed. She was very academic, and she was a little shy when speaking in front of clowns.
After her transformation, she wore heavy makeup, charming appearance, and her speech became sassy and cheap, a proper "mean girl" image.
She didn't listen to the command, she was maverick, and she defeated two monsters by herself in the elevator, with extraordinary skills.
Especially when the elevator opened, her teammates were holding guns to guard against monsters, but they saw her with a baseball bat on her shoulders, walked out leisurely, and said indifferently, "Come on, let's go."
In the tense atmosphere of his teammates, Harley's ease and self-compassion became more and more unique and impressive.
In the hail of bullets, jumping and dancing, amazing.
And there are one or two shots that can be seen, Harley is still afraid of the clown's crazy behavior:
The Joker and Batman are racing, Harry said, but his expression was scared.
The plane was blown up, and Harley was nervous and scared, not as calm and easy as the clown.
When climbing the stairs, she talked about love with Dead Shot, who said that she was murderous and could not love.
Harry reluctantly said that Deadshot was also a textbook-level criminal.
A simple line of dialogue shows that Harley is still that female doctor inside.
In fact, Harley has always longed for the clown to live a stable life with her, like an ordinary couple.
After losing the Joker, Harley wept alone in the rain, and when she saw her teammates, she immediately changed her face and pretended to be relaxed.
It can be said that the character of Harley Quinn is very three-dimensional. Under the appearance of "Mean Girl", she is a brave girl who devotes all her life to love, and is very popular.
There are two scenes when Harley was a doctor, and the Joker's opposite scenes can be a good presentation of the two people's emotional journey towards each other.
First, the clown expresses disgust for her healing before shocking Harley;
Second, Harley chases the clown on a motorcycle, and the two confront each other.
It is a pity that these two clips were deleted, but it is understandable.
After all, the core of this movie is that the villains save the world, not their romantic love.
But it's puzzling to cut out the clips that show the integrity of the characters and keep some inexplicable shots.
For example, when the clown tied up the female doctor, an old man suddenly appeared, and he was so frightened that he posed.
Who is this person? What are you doing out there, is it scary to set off the clown?
No need!
The clown here is responsible for sadomasochism and sugar sprinkles. It's too abrupt for such an old man to steal the spotlight.
Likewise, what's the point of having a few seconds of close-up on a rotting motorcycle?
Then again, the clip of the Joker crash.
The turbulence caused him to fall, and Harley jumped out of the plane, heartbroken to see the plane explode, which was enough to show that the Joker didn't escape.
It was a pity to see the clown sacrifice for love.
But there is a scene where the clown stretches out his arms and screams, which makes people inexplicably play, and can't help but add: "Hey, give me a hand!"
Although there are a lot of bad points in the movie, it doesn't matter, these can't stop Leto's charm.
Among the three versions of the Joker I have seen, the one that impressed me the most was Heath Ledger in "Batman: The Dark Knight", evil, treacherous, creepy and frightening;
The most distressing is Joaquin Phoenix in "Joker", struggling in a deep muddy ditch, and finally turned into a demon;
And the sweetest and most handsome is Jared Leto in "Suicide Squad".
In fact, in terms of appearance, the clown is really not next to the handsome.
Pale white complexion, green hair, no eyebrows, smoky eyes, red lips like sausages, especially those big silver teeth, it looks disgusting.
However, after watching the whole movie, Leto feels handsome!
His handsomeness is not in appearance, but in style and behavior.
When it comes to outfits, Leto wears a suit, wears a gold watch, and drives a luxury car.
The average male protagonist also unbuttons the two buttons on the collar of his shirt.
Not so with Leto, who unbuttons a row to reveal his tattoos: the Joker's signature playing cards and grin.
Coupled with the gold rings on his hands and the gold chain hanging around his neck, he is full of local tyrants, full of arrogance and bandit.
In terms of behavior, Jared Leto's gestures have some shadows of Heath Ledger, but they are not as treacherous as him. However, Leto interprets the clown as a charming evil handsome:
With hands on crutches, looking sideways at Harley Quinn, arrogantly turning a blind eye to admirers;
In the chemical factory, he had already turned to leave, but he roared in a tangled voice, turned around, ripped off his suit, and jumped to save Harry, which made people excited.
From then on, in the eyes of the clown, everyone in the world is an ant, and only Harry is a star.
He interprets what it means to be "alone" in a unique way:
Those who disrespect Harley will be killed without mercy;
After Harley was captured, the Joker devised a plan to rescue her:
Bought the warden to hand Harley Quinn a cell phone;
Bringing people to the laboratory where the nano bombs were brought, and catching scientists to defuse the bombs in Harry's body;
Hijacking a military plane, wearing a tuxedo, shooting people on the roof with a gun, and rescuing Harry frantically and aggressively;
In the end, everyone thought the Joker was dead.
Hallian enjoys prison life in peace.
The clown once again unexpectedly took a group of younger brothers to prison.
In the end, he was still very handsome and said in Harry's ear: "Let's go home."
Such a clown, his boyfriend is so powerful, and he sprinkles sugar with high energy throughout the whole process, how can he not be handsome?
Love is weak in reality, and it can be wiped out by firewood, rice, oil and salt.
The Joker and Harley are in love with no hesitation and vigour, as Harley Quinn sings in the background song "Gangsta" when he dances in the chemical pool:
I need a bandit who loves me more than everyone else, always tolerates me, and lives and dies with me...
This is the most beautiful love that every girl yearns for.
