"Suicide Squad" has a dark style unique to DC, so compared to the mouth-watering Marvel, this movie is still particularly bitter.
Since it is a group movie, it is inevitable to explain the history of each member of the "Suicide Squad", and the result is a mess. Eager to form the team, the characters did not stand up very much. A little better is the father played by Will Smith, who is still flesh and blood and loves his family and daughter. Several other characters have been taken in one stroke, and those who were confused were sentenced to sit in prison. If "Suicide Squad" is made into another dark universe series, at least several movies will be laid out. As far as the character stories shown in the film, each member can pull out to make a one-person movie. However, the movie squeezes everything into dozens of minutes, and there is no way to tell why.
The bluntness of some plot twists is also an old problem of DC. Several people always wanted to run away, but several times they voluntarily surrendered because of a word or two from someone. The far-fetched logic made Suicide Squad stumble, limping all the way to the showdown.
Originally, Warners must have wanted to create a movie similar to "Guardians of the Galaxy" in order to enrich the DCEU and pave the way for the "Justice League". The result, as everyone knows, was stillborn, and there was no news. When will the broken expanded universe restart? I'm afraid Warner executives didn't think about it...
