Verbosity is the drawback of European literary films

The 1 hour and 56 minute film saw the first turning point after 50 minutes. When the screenwriter created the male protagonist, he gave him an optimistic and positive attitude, but it also made foreign audiences feel that the 50 minutes in front of him were too long. It was so long that it took me three months to finish watching this film. To be honest, if it wasn't for the part where I went to the concentration camp to hide the boxes and play games, I would have fallen asleep.
The episode of changing hats appeared a total of 2 times. The humor is quite humorous, but don't you think it adds a little bit of petty theft to the male protagonist? Before seeing the turning point later, the actor's amazing hairline, almost bald look... and the heroine's very old appearance, it is really difficult to have a sense of substitution. I can't believe that this person is actually the male lead ( ˘•㉨•˘ ).
The plot of changing the plate just shows that the hero is very witty. There is also a random entry into the Queen's caravan at the beginning, which makes people mistakenly think of his identity and cheers. This plot is good until the encounter with the heroine, but a series of eggs, theater, sleep magic, changing hats, changing dinner plates... ...really too verbose.
Literary films are really not suitable for Aries.
