There is always a real you, walking in the social network

In the evening, I went to the nearest cinema with Erin to watch the newly released movie The Social Network.

Before going to see it, I only checked the director of the movie: David Fincher. OK, a good director should not be a bad movie.

I saw a few stills: Oh, the Harvard school uniform should have a high IQ plot.

Then, we went straight to the theater.

How to say it? It's a good movie, full of beautiful music, clean lines, and fast tempos.

And, of course, there are handsome guys.

The plot, based on a true story, the Facebook saga, is

a bit overwhelming.

Some people commented on the Internet that this is a story of friendship, loyalty, and betrayal.

Given my limited English listening skills, I can only say that I have seen the impulse, hesitation and desperation of human nature.

Young Mark, like all IT boys, likes to rely on computers to solve problems in life.

If you dump me in life, I will vent my anger on the Internet.

Not good at socializing, I will design a social networking society.

Everyone only does what they are good at, but not everyone can do it to the fullest.

But what is behind the success?

Friends against each other, girlfriend hatred, money, loneliness, self-approval...

I think maybe David Fincher isn't trying to show a real Facebook story,

he's just showing a life that everyone experiences more or less.

Reckless stupid things for some young high spirits,

reckless devotion to the people you care about,

hurting people you don't want to hurt, doing jobs you never thought you would do, and living a life that backfired life……

At the end of the credits, Mark finds his beloved ex-girlfriend's Facebook, asks her to add him as a friend,

and refreshes the page over and over again, expecting her to accept it.

How like ourselves.

For the person who crushes, check emails, chat records, blogs again and again...

Even if we have tens of thousands of dollars, in the deepest corner of our hearts, we are still lonely.

But that's okay, we can wait.

For example, refreshing the network every day, such as continuing to send applications,

or like Mark, after success, watching from a distance and accepting such loneliness.

We are expelled from life, expelled from loneliness, and become less and less like ourselves.

But don't be afraid of yourself.

Because, there is always a real you, walking in the social network.

The Social Network quotes

  • Amy: You're a zillionaire!

    Sean Parker: Not technically.

    Amy: What are you?

Sean Parker: Broke. There's not a lot of money in free music, even less when you're being sued by everyone who's ever been to the Grammys.

Amy: This is blowing my mind.

    Sean Parker: I appreciate that.

Amy: I gotta hop in the shower and get ready for class.

Sean Parker: Bio-Chem even though you're a French major who's name is Amy.

    Amy: You passed.

Sean Parker: I'm a hard worker.

  • Sean Parker: You mind if I check my email?

    Amy: Yeah, go ahead.

Sean Parker: [logs on and sees The Facebook] Amy? Amy!

    Amy: Yeah?

Sean Parker: Can you come out here?

    Amy: Just a second.

Sean Parker: There's a snake in here, Amy.

    Amy: What?

    [runs from shower]

    Amy: Where?

Sean Parker: Okay, there isn't a snake but I need to ask you something.

Amy: Are you kidding me? I could have been killed!

    Sean Parker: How?

Amy: By running too fast! And getting twisted in the curtain. What do you need to ask me?

Sean Parker: I went to check my email and there's a website open on your computer?

Amy: Yeah, after you passed out last night I went on The Facebook for a little bit.

    Sean Parker: What's that?

Amy: The Facebook? Stanford's had it for like, two weeks now. It's really awesome except it's freakishly addicting. Seriously, I'm on the thing like five times a day.

Sean Parker: Mind if I send myself an email?

    Amy: Yeah, is everything okay?

Sean Parker: Everything's great. I just need to find you, Mark Zuckerberg.
