Maybe not great, but since it's a biopic based on true events, it's sincere. I personally think this film is very suitable to introduce, let us understand part of the dark and ignorant history of the United States, but the question is how many Chinese people are interested in this theme? This is a film that exposes the sins of the American criminal system and the sins committed by the superior white people. It is true that Chinese people are not interested in this subject matter, and they will feel long and procrastinated, but those who can understand the background of that era will be moved. This is not only an attack on slavery, but also an exposition of the relationship between human behavior and social institutions, such a politically correct film is definitely the dish of the Oscars
