My guess is that Elizabeth did have feelings for Jack. From his previous trust in Jack and his dislike of Jack (although he disliked him on the surface), she firmly believed that Jack was a good person, but Elizabeth was indeed a good girl. She did not want to be herself. In the morning and evening, when she saw Jack driving the boat away secretly, she forced herself to kill Jack for this reason. Otherwise, at this point in the plot, Elizabeth would forcefully kiss Jack and then torture him, which always felt far-fetched. If she put aside her personal feelings, Maybe she won't do it, (why in her heart want her to be with Jack?)
