play out of line

Since the Coen brothers are already famous, plus the affirmation of several Oscar statuettes, I am embarrassed to express my true thoughts at the first moment after watching the film - I don't understand!

In fact the moment the subtitles came out, I didn't even realize the movie was over! It's really unconventional from start to finish -

it's the first movie I've seen so far without a soundtrack. From the beginning to the end, there are only normal background sounds, the wind whistling in the silent desert, the quiet streets where the vehicles are neatly arranged in the middle of the night, the intermittent plots and advertisements on the TV; the only music is from a few singers. , when they saw the bleeding wound on Moss's body, the singing came to a screeching halt... For the first time, they felt that the tension could still be created without any soundtrack or sound effects. This is what the ancients said, "silence is better than sound".

For the first time, I saw what it means to kill without blinking an eye, a completely inhuman killer, that is Chigurh! It's impossible to predict who he will kill next, and how he will kill him "with lightning speed". A seasoned and calm police officer Bell came out, thinking he would catch the murderer in the end, but he missed it; a tough guy Moss who never gave in and dared to face a cold-blooded killer came out, and he fought several times and finally died; Confident speculators are of no use, and they are collapsed in confusion...

What kind of hero saves the world, what kind of justice defeats evil, all Hollywood shit! No wonder they have a script shortage, because even us overseas audiences can see the pattern. This time, the Coen brothers came to the rescue. Although to be honest, this is the first time I have eaten this meal, and it is not easy to digest (for example, I have no idea what the title of the film means), but I believe that "avant-garde" is unconditionally worthy of praise, because it represents the way forward!

What is alternative? What is mainstream? Who can guarantee that today's alternative will not be tomorrow's mainstream?

Or just be an honest audience and enjoy this unparalleled, subversive, and wonderful viewing experience.

PS, Uncle Javier Bardem's performance is really amazing, especially a pair of eyes, which is breathtaking. When I watched "Eternal Sleep" a few years ago, I felt that this Spanish man had the strength to hold the statue. Now that my wish has been fulfilled, I extend my heartfelt congratulations!
