In 1993, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon found a new apartment in Los Angeles. Two imaginative young artists chose this fairytale house. This unusual little house was created in 1923 by the French architect Jean-Louis Egasse and the owners Albert and Constance Braasch. The cottage draws inspiration from French architecture and Scandinavian flair, and adds some quirky character elements, such as stained glass windows, wall reliefs and rough woodwork, and a playful asymmetrical arched entrance. It was here that Ben and Matt completed the script for Good Will Hunting. In 2013, it was listed as a historical and cultural building by the City of Los Angeles.
