The first experience of a great director

"Batman: Shadow of the Shadows"

Until today, Christopher Nolan to the movies I have seen "Inception", "Interstellar", "Deadly Magic", the last two Batman. This "Batman: Maniac" is the first Batman to come. This film belongs to Nolan's earlier films. Although it is relatively immature, the shadow of the fixed pattern of later Nolan films can be seen from this film.

The themes described in Nolan's films are relatively grand, such as life, time, justice and evil, human nature, etc., coupled with his less straightforward narrative style, it gives the impression that his films are very brain-burning. But as long as the patient audience has tasted his films repeatedly, they will find that Nolan's films are very deep, profound and thoughtful. Not to mention the grand themes of his films, his ingenious narrative structure and story tension alone will give you an intellectual delight.

Closer to home, this "Batman: Fan of the Shadow" tells the story of a rich young master who has been afraid of bats since he was a child and eventually turned into a superhero who saves the entire city. The movie uses a clichéd way of telling a story by reversing. Of course, the film also inserted the experience of his growing up as a child, and laid a foreshadowing in these experiences. Compared with Nolan's later films, the structure of this film is relatively simple and easy for the audience to understand. Like all of Nolan's films. There are impressive quotes in this movie. One is what Batman's father taught him when he was a kid: Why do we fall? Because we have to learn to stand up. There is also a sentence from the heroine of Batman's childhood sweetheart who angered him: It is not your heart that defines you, but what you do. What's very exciting about the movie is that the two lines are arranged with a callback in the film. That is to say, they echo before and after, and the timing of the arrangement is just right and very delicate. Whether a movie is well-made is reflected in these details. Of course, the elusive high IQ of the villain set in the movie is also secretly praised!

It is worth mentioning that I personally like the actor Christian Bale who plays Batman very much. Not to mention that he can control his weight at will, which reflects his dedication, and what is even more admirable is his acting skills. It can be said that he has brought his acting talent to the extreme, and the extreme is equivalent to perfection. Full of flavor, restrained and restrained. It's my favorite style!

The words inversion, brain-burning, esoteric, and grand can be used as labels for Nolan's films, and these labels have already taken shape in "Batman: Fans of the Movie". Great directors are not born great, and anyone who wants to achieve Great people have to go through periods that are not great. This is an objective law!

Batman Begins quotes

  • The Scarecrow: [riding through a riot on a hooded horse] There's nothing to fear but fear itself!

  • Batman: [has laid a snare-trap which yanks Flass by his leg 70 feet into the air] Where were the other drugs going?

Flass: I never knew. I don't know. I swear to God...

    Batman: Swear to *me*!

[He rapidly lowers a screaming Flass and then yanks him back up]

Flass: I don't... I don't know. I never knew. Never. They went to some guy for a couple of days before they went to the dealers.

    Batman: Why?

Flass: There was something... Something else in the drugs... something hidden.

    Batman: What?

Flass: I never went to the drop-off point. It was in the Narrows. Cops only go there when they're in force.

Batman: Do I look like a cop?

    Flass: No...!

[rapidly lowers Flass once more before dropping him to the ground]
