WOW... Putting aside the prejudice that I thought it was too boring when I first saw this film 5 years ago, after carefully watching the director's cut version of this film, I found that this is a rare and amazingly long-length novel, I mean, Long over 150 minutes in length, the last time I saw such tension was The Dark Knight. The rhythm of the whole piece does not rely on the thrilling soundtrack and bright editing, but Finch's personal interpretation of the whole case is carried out in the process of stripping the cocoon.

From the beginning of the story, through the replay of several cases, people may think that this is another crime film like "The Seven Deadly Sins", but in fact, I think it is more like a mystery film. There are many amazing shooting techniques throughout the article, such as the use of wonderful dark and bright light, 90-degree turns to follow the car, the use of radio broadcasts and the construction of buildings to change time and space, and so on.

The most worrisome is undoubtedly the real Zodiac killer. My personal views after watching this film are: 1. Similar to "Memories of Murder", but in such serial murder cases, there must be the incompetence of the police in handling the case, leading to clues Failing to follow up completely (such as letting the man who witnessed the killer by the lake identify the photo in 70 years), or deliberately destroying it (such as the somewhat dubious note authentication expert Sherwood); 2, there is not necessarily only one killer, look at the "Dark Knight" At the beginning, when Batman is deliberately imitated, it is sometimes difficult to distinguish the authenticity from the fake. Maybe some cases are not the work of the Zodiac killer; 3. Is the letter really written by the killer himself? This is actually similar to the second question. If it is a relationship like Bob Vaughn and Rick Marshall, maybe one person kills and the other writes a letter to interfere with solving the case. Personally, I have a doubt that when the cartoon writer went to Bob's house and had a thrilling encounter in the cellar, why did he go to the prison to seek Rick's clues? Isn't Bob suspicious? The DNA of the police checking the letter didn't match Leigh, so could it possibly match Bob? ...

For the film itself, there are basically no shortcomings, and people spend 160 minutes unconsciously, just like the cartoon writer who always pursues the truth, he can't let go. However, the performances of several actors in this film, except for Gyllenhaal who are quite satisfactory, the performances of Rafaro and Downey are not good enough, which has affected them more or less.
