On the rationality of the plot

1 The protagonist
The protagonist should be said to be dead, but some of the brain's functions are still alive. The military has made a program that can communicate with the protagonist through a computer, and can also let him enter other people's pre-death memories through the program.

2 The cabin

is a neat detail. The place where the protagonist is located does not exist, nor is it programmed. This is not explicitly stated in the play, only the protagonist's imagination. However, it can be seen that this location is the helicopter cabin where he was before his death, including the flight suit he was wearing and the liquid (possibly leaking gasoline) flowing on the ground, all implying that this was a crashed helicopter.

The only thing that seems illogical at the beginning of the whole play is the incoherence between the beginning and the end of the film. The protagonist is in the source code from the beginning, but he doesn't know where he is at all, causing confusion and panic, and this is not his first time Entering the world of source code (the female officer's line "You have been with us for 2 months".), but as the plot develops, we find that the protagonist is more and more familiar with the world inside the source code, and he is more and more familiar with the world in which he lives. His real-world understanding has become more and more clear, indicating that he has the ability to remember what happens in both the source code and reality.
How to explain this incoherence? After the protagonist of the film came out of the source code world, the female officer played him a memory restoration program. It is conceivable that this is not the first time he "amnesia", and the military already has effective means to deal with his "amnesia". Some people say that this echoes the plot of the parallel world behind, but it doesn't make sense.

4. After the
protagonist got off the train and started a new life, he sent a text message to the female officer, and the one who received the text message was the female officer in his parallel world, not the female officer in the world where the protagonist had died. It can be seen that in that world, the source code has not yet seen the light, and the lame technologist is still waiting for the opportunity to make it.

5 Scientists don't know there are parallel worlds, how can a pilot know.
Since the scientist has never entered the world of source code, even if he can think of such a possibility, it is a place that has absolutely nothing to do with him, so denial is the most reasonable. And the experience of the protagonist tells him that this world is so real, there is no possibility that it is fake, and there is no possibility that it exists only for 8 minutes. That's why I am so sure that there is a parallel world, and I can start a new life there.

An experience accumulation game like "Angry Birds". Get more information and correct your behavior through repeated attempts. The director’s handling at the end messed up the world he had built before, but that’s okay. It’s just a transition from a science fiction movie to a romantic movie. It can bring out a lot of suspense during watching, and it can trigger a lot of discussion after watching, which is not bad.
