source code review

This is a movie with a time travel theme. The storyline is very simple, that is, to find the criminal who placed the Chicago bomb through time travel, and the executor of this time travel is a soldier who died on the battlefield, but his brain can still be used. Scientists let him exist in the source code.

There are many mysterious-sounding terms in the movie, such as quantum integrals, brain waves, etc., which all bring about the constant repetition of 8 minutes. Each time is only 8 minutes, and when the time is up, we will return. The male protagonist tries to find out why he did what he did by repeating the task, and understands what he is doing step by step, so as to finally give himself a satisfactory answer. In the end, he chose to rest in peace based on this explanation. He is already dead, but only Just live in another world.

In the last eight minutes he did a lot of things, but bigger than saving the world, he called his dad to say sorry, he got the comedian to show everyone and make the passengers laugh, and then he liked kiss and wait quietly for the final moment. Of course, he didn't die in the end, the world changed from him, I'm afraid it's not clear what happened.

A question pops up from time to time in the film: "If you had a minute to live, what would you do?" The heroine's answer is to cherish every second. It's kind of like what I would have done in Helen Keller's Three Days of Light. How much time does it take to call a parent or tell a loved one that I like her? But why don't we do it normally instead of waiting until the last eight minutes of our lives? Even though the last thing to do turned out to be the thing we valued the most, it all felt too late.

The weather in Chicago was fine, it was a brand new day, the world changed in just eight minutes, and the film gave an indescribable warmth at the end. Simple story, simple logic, but it doesn't give people a simple feeling. Life is so beautiful, why people haven't found it. In the train car, why is there no laughter, but only dullness and complaints. Perhaps what the criminal wants to change is not the world in the physical sense, but the world of people's hearts, but he made a mistake, using bombs is futile, so what should be used?

Sorry, I don't know either.
