From the "Moon" of memory carrier conversion, to "Avatar" of long-distance transmission of memory, to "Inception" of memory search, to "Source Code" of memory injection and nesting, and unsolved mysteries The "Stargate-Universe" series, commercial films are also digging deeper in terms of sci-fi content. Compared with the macroscopic universe, the study of the brain and memory is the closest to our ultimate goal, to understand who we really are. From another point of view, the role of the media is to influence and educate. The role of "2012" is obvious. Although I fully understood this novel story as meaningful as "The Moon", it didn't come to light, and there was no surging heart. This is the shortcoming of Duncan Jones-at the climax of subverting the plot, the tension of the narrative is insufficient. But this kind of work will succeed, because a good story is always more important than a good technique.

Source Code quotes

  • Max Denoff: [telling a joke to the train passengers] Woman always mess up my last name. I was with a girl the other night and she kept calling me "Getoff." She was like, "Getoff! Getoff!" I'm like, "No, it's Denoff. Denoff." She says, "No, you're fat and you're heavy. Get off!"

Colter Stevens: [to Goodwin] If you're reading this e-mail, then Source Code works even better than you and Dr. Rutledge imagined. You thought you were creating eight minutes of a past event, but you're not. You've created a whole new world. Goodwin, if I'm right, somewhere at the Source Code facility, you have a Captain Colter Stevens waiting to send on a mission. Promise me you'll help him. And when you do, do me a favor. Tell him everything is going to be okay.
