The heroine is the wife in "The Danish Girl", who I watched not long ago, so it seems a bit out of the way now. Such a role really needs a fresh face. For this reason, I was more impressed by the male lead's performance. Especially when he started cutting his hands with a knife after watching the surveillance. Very shocking. In the end, the look of decadence and despair after understanding the problem under the boss's explanation is also very good.
The Japanese-faced robot that appears in the movie is also a very interesting character. Although, as soon as she came out, I thought she was a robot. Even if the boss explained that she didn't understand English or something, it didn't dissuade me because her behavior was too "mechanical". However, there is a scene in the movie where she spills the wine, gets scolded by the boss, then takes off her high heels and sits in the corridor. I don't understand why the director would give such a plot to a failing AI, an AI that makes mistakes. However, after seeing it, I understood. She is more successful than us, more than the creator himself imagined, and she has some jerky feelings, which is why she was persuaded to point the knife at the boss when she went to intercept ava.
I was fascinated by the way the story deals with the camera and the background sound, some inexplicable parts are reasonably blurred out, like the language ava speaks to Kyoko. There is also the reverse picture after ava escapes. I don't quite understand the blue light that pops up on the hero's face from time to time, but it's very tech-savvy. And of course the name ava and the metaphor of the seven days of creation.
In the end, presumably everyone will be led to think about the safety of artificial intelligence. Can we recreate them when we're really ready? I think it's probably difficult. However, it is a good habit to ask if you are before before asking how. The ava in the film is not actually a perfect artificial intelligence. She is a version designed by the bearded boss to test the use of human emotions. In fact, the bearded boss is not so confident. He carefully selected a deceitful little freshman for ava. Meat. Ava doesn't actually have feelings. But a conscious creature has feelings. So the question is, can we create truly perfect artificial intelligence?
