A little green at the end of flashy

For me, who has never read the original book, it is not too difficult to understand this film. It is nothing more than the legend of the extremely inflated bubble tycoon before the Great Depression. What's Great About Gatsby: From Scratch? Experienced? Or did he jump up the class by whitewashing the original sin criticized by his rivals? I can't see the director's ambition to express the protagonist's temperament, it seems that Gatsby is the endorsement of the many upstarts in the dilapidated old house many years ago, and the endorsement of the whole unhealthy era. Under the prosperity of spending money like soil, the upper class dances fragrant dances and sings songs that have wine at the moment. The satisfaction of being in heaven is filled with laughter and waves.
It would be too boring to simply criticize the decay of the bourgeoisie. The main line is the unique flash of Gatsby described by others. For the return of human nature to the basics, materialistic desires have covered the human feelings that many people once cherished, but Gatsby did not. The love for that woman runs through the legend of his life accumulation, smuggling illegal, for her; holding a grand party, for her; taking the blame and victimization, for her. Bear the hatred and bullets of others, bury pity and desire for survival. That green light not only opened the old love cabinet, but also gave death a calm understanding and regret, which was one of the few places that touched me. Let the snowflakes bury the dazzling glitz of that era!

  • Policeman: Pull over! Pull over to the curb!

Jay Gatsby: All right, Old Sport. All right.

    [shows him his business card]

Policeman: Right, you are! I'll know you next time, Mr. Gatsby.
