There are so many problems with this film.
It is mainly manifested in the great difference from Homer's epics and ancient Greek myths and legends. For example, Menelaus originally lived to the end, but he died here; although Agamemnon died, he did not die in this way. Achilles was also not involved in the Trojan horse plan and was shot before that; Paris was also dead and was shot by another sharpshooter; Helen was taken back by Menelaus, the ex-husband Finally, she did not care about her former suspicions, and she went on to be the queen of Sparta; and Paris did not know Aeneas, it should be unlikely, because the latter was the former's brother-in-law or brother-in-law; Hector saw Holly Ma's original work does not seem to be so noble and stalwart, but more stubborn and reckless; Ajax was not dead, but he died here, and the achievements of killing Ajax and Menelaus are all recorded on Hector's body. This is all wrong. It seems that there are both good and bad aspects in both Greece and Troy in Homer's original work; and this film seems to forcibly blacken the Greek side and beautify the Troy side. Although there are many problems, I personally like this film very much, and I can't say why. It is precisely because of this film that I became interested in Homer's epics and even the history of Greece, and I read a lot of books in this regard. Recently, I also read Professor Zhao Lin's "The Light of Greek Civilization", which gave me a deeper understanding of Greek history and culture.
