my humble opinion

I never thought that I would watch a movie related to ancient Greek mythology. In fact, it was the first time for me to watch it. I have no experience. I don’t know if it should be regarded as a hero war movie or something else. It’s more than three hours long. , but fortunately I persevered. About Homer's epic, I have always had a very vague concept of it, and I have always been confused about the mythology of ancient Greece, maybe because its name is too difficult to remember hahaha, I have never really paid attention to it systematically. It, the course of foreign literature history has started this semester, and it is also my beginning to get in touch with this aspect. The teacher asked us to watch this movie. At first, we resisted, thinking that we would not be able to watch it, but the unexpected delicacy of Achilles made me gradually get better. When it comes to the enjoyment later, the background of this movie should be The part of the "Iliad" in "Homer" is indeed more acceptable than the novel. It turns out that "Tenderness of the Iron Man" is so touching, whether Paris is infatuated with Helen, or Achilles is in love with the priestess (I forgot the name haha), or Het Thor to protect the country, and the old king of Troy Yearning for God to follow God's will and love the people and peace, all these made me see the common emotions in heroes, which reminded me of what the teacher said in class, that in ancient Greek myths, gods have human nature. As far as the God who is already high above is concerned, seeing these emotions makes me feel very novel. There is a particularly wonderful scene where Achilles and the priestess say that God envy people. This film is a door for me to open foreign literature, maybe I will try to touch them slowly, to challenge, to study seriously and to be interested.
