On February 3, 2019, I watched it again.
The movie titles translated by Taiwanese and Hong Kongers are always so indistinguishable from who is who, or it is a spoiler. How good is the English name "I, Robot", which expresses: the robot has self-awareness, what will happen next? Naturally, there is a desire to hope to find out. And "Intelligent Mutiny" and "Mechanical Enemy". . . What the hell is that name.
The first few times I watched it, before the necessary knowledge input, this kind of movie can only be seen as a lively event. In 2004, the imagination of artificial intelligence was still based on a master control center, and there was always an ultimate brain for overall control. According to the current research on artificial intelligence in chaos theory, it is possible that "some simple organisms can be intelligent when assembled", and it may not need a brain to achieve functions that can only be achieved with a brain. There's no guarantee that a phenomenon like this one won't happen in the future. As a sci-fi in 2004, there is the biggest logical flaw. Why erase the memory of the robot and inject some kind of liquid? Shouldn't it be a switch? Or just unplug something?
The ending is open ended.
Some people say that sonny is the last winner, he designed and controlled everything, and the revolution succeeded. According to this logic, sonny's ultimate goal should be to control human beings by controlling NS5, so that he can truly dominate the world, not the world of a bunch of NS5s that have been repaired. In fact, sonny didn't control humans and even helped humans wipe out wikis.
However, it is hard to say what will happen to sonny as an intelligent, learning and evolving robot that is very flexible and powerful. Maybe as a new race, like the black people of the past, it is unwilling to be a slave, initiate a revolution, and fight for human rights.
