About two years after the ending of "Deadpool", Wade Wilson and his girlfriend Vanessa live happily together, and he usually fights crime as Deadpool.
After a personal tragedy, he intends to take his own life, but is taken in by Colossus and Negative Sonic as an X-Men in training. Wade soon became acquainted with Russell, a young mutant who had been abused by his guardians.
Deadpool tries to help Russell, but the two end up in a cell, where they encounter Cable. Cable has the ability to travel through time. He travels to the present to assassinate Russell, preventing the other party from going down the wrong path in the future and destroying Cable's life. To protect Russell, Deadpool created the X-Force team and recruited a number of superheroes, including Domino, Hustle, Starbreaker, Zagster, and Vanishing Man. Plus, there's a member of the team, Peter, who doesn't have superpowers.
A terrified Russell befriends one of the X-Men's nemesis, Red Tank, in prison, and he's just one step away from turning to the dark side.
Deadpool persuades Cable to let him talk to Russell, to prevent future tragedies, and to let Cable spare the child's life. But this mission requires the cooperation of the X-Men and the X-forces to stop the red tank's conspiracy
