Although the theme is inevitably old-fashioned, Despicable Me was moved and inspired by the little girls he adopted when he was at a low point and lost, and then started the era of personal heroes like a plug-in.

The little girl with soaring hair is lively and cheerful and very likable, and the little yellow people are so interesting. One of the three little girls wears glasses.     [She and Edith turn and see Agnes scarfing from the bowl on the floor marked "food."]

    Agnes: [mouth full] Mmm?
