8. The conventional plot of the protagonist's halo - no matter how badly he was beaten before, there is mainly a motivation and opportunity. Back then, the subject matter in this area was relatively lacking compared to now. It is understandable to engage in such a cliché plot, but it is also a flaw in the arrangement of the plot itself.
All in all, defeating Doctor Octopus in the second part can open up a new villain plot line. If the above Harry's revenge plot and the existence of the sand soldier bug are deleted, the third part will only fight Venom, the plot will be much dull and boring, but the failure is in these places, you can say that the fourth part will explain it, but unfortunately there is no fourth It’s already a part, and even if there is a fourth part, I also feel that the plot settings of the third part are very protracted or not handled properly.
Visual effects are still very strong. The first film has obvious CG traces (one is relatively early, technical reasons, special effects are understandable), the animation effects of the mechanical tentacles and fighting clips of Dr. Octopus in the second film are still very challenging, and the special effects are better than The previous one was more realistic, but the light and shadow processing of some lenses in the later stage of the keying still had a feeling of piercing. Of course, it also won the Oscar for best visual effects that year, which is well deserved. The third CG trace is basically gone, and a large number of hydrodynamic particle effects (sand soldier's quicksand effect and venom's liquid effect) have been added.
