I've always wanted to watch the other versions of "Lady in the Fall" except for the so-called "director's version," and finally got what I wanted.

The 50th anniversary commemorative edition of "Lady in the Tribulation" on hand includes the "Director's Edition", the version released in 1958 and the preview version that director Orson Welles is not satisfied with. Look at the three versions in one go. Really, that "director's version" is the best. The most notable is the long shot before the initial bombing. The other two versions were forced to add a "list" and a soundtrack by the filmmaker, and the entire composition was destroyed.

Undoubtedly, as the finale before the end of the film noir era, this DVD is definitely worth collecting.

Where can I see Walter Murch's re-edited version based on 58 pages of Orson Welles' own memo? When Murch told a friend that he was going to recut the film, the friend said I hope you don't touch the beginning of it. And Murch said that was the first thing he wanted to change. The friend was silent for a long time and replied: It sounds like God just called and said that he was going to revise the - this anecdote is very interesting.

I was shocked by the first long shot. I put this movie on my phone and watched it intermittently. I watched it for a few minutes every day before going to bed. I finally finished it yesterday. . . What kind of spirit is this, there are too many dialogues, so I use it as hypnosis
