After watching Interstellar, I revisited True Detective and found the echo point.

At the beginning of August, I didn't feel the first two episodes. It may be that the rhythm is different from the expected rhythm. Later, I got a sense of substitution. The actors' acting skills are amazing, and every picture and lines are as if they were carefully crafted. There are many The lines are all worth aftertaste. Later, on the first day of Interstellar, I went to see Nolan and Matthew's masterpiece. After returning home, I revisited True Detective again. I feel that there is a line in the fifth episode of Rust and it seems to be said in Interstellar, as follows :
Someone once told me, "time is a flat circle".

Everything we've ever done or will do, we're gonna do over and over and over again…

And that little boy and that little girl, they're gonna be in that room again and again and again forever.

Years. You ever heard of something called the M-brane theory. Detective?

It's like in this universe, we process time linearly forward…

But out side of our spacetime, from what would be a fourth-dimensional perspective, time wouldn't exist.

And from that vantage, could we attain it…we'd see our spacetime would look flattened, like a single sculpture with matter in a superposition of every place it ever occupied.

See everything outside our dimension…that's eternity. Eternity looking down on us .

Now, to us, it's a sphere. But to them, it's a circle.
This is very much like a scene in Interstellar where the man cook sends a message to his daughter in the time-superimposed dimension.

There is also the love between the boy and the girl as a bond, which keeps them connected in different dimensions, and finally saves mankind, and the father and daughter meet again.
This dude rust is a nihilist, because from the beginning he said that human self-awareness is an evolutionary error, life just follows our programmed programming, human is just a biological puppet, just a sentient meat without self at all, everything is It's a fantasy, a dream about being a person, no need to be persistent, he has always looked down on everything and knows what he wants. But in the last episode he said: I could still feel her love there, even more than before. Nothing...there was nothing but that love...Then I woke up. It was also love as bond, breaking his original nothingness.
