Of course, this does not mean that 2 is a perfect movie. Let’s talk about its good parts first:
1. The first thing that shocked me was that when the three girls checked into the inn, the clerk took photos of them in the basement. And the information was put on the online auction. At this time, there was a slow motion interspersed with music. Through editing, distinguished customers with different faces and skin colors were looking at the computer or holding a huge business phone, looking forward to the screen, I don’t know. Have you noticed that several clients are still engaged in bidding for murder qualifications when they are getting along with their families or in meetings with their subordinates. Under the pretending calm appearance, there are stimulating surprises and dark human nature. This is the director's to the powerful. A critique of class moral standards. At the same time, it is also a true portrayal of most modern people, especially so-called successful people, who are unable to balance their mental health under the pressure of commercial social dramas.
2. While portraying that American client (Sorry, forgot his name), the director deliberately added his friend Stuart while portraying the American client (Sorry, forgot his name). He was cowardly, conservative, responsible and caring for his friends. He set foot in Slovakia. There is a feeling of being forced to accept tattoos. But why did that stubborn, swearing, stimulating hunk accidentally cut the woman’s scalp and immediately collapsed, and was finally bitten to death by a dog; while Stuart, who was weak and timid in appearance, broke out in the end, his pervertedness and cruelty For any murderer, of course, the final fate is also very tragic. I have thought about 2 points here:
a. Have you noticed that except for the male Stuart with smaller eyes and weaker appearance, these two guys look alike, especially when two people enter the secret room and wear murderous clothes? The headgear (a bit like a swimming cap) looks like a pair of twins. I suspect that the reason for the director's arrangement is to expose the split personality of people. In fact, two people are two sides of one person. Behind the irritable, bold and evil appearance is timidity and conscience; while the appearance is weak and calm, there is an unpredictable evil!
b. Obviously Stuart is a bronchitis, and he must have been angry with his wife a lot, so he regarded that woman as his own wife and vented the grievances he had buried for a long time. It reminds me of Kevin Spacy in "American Beauty". This is an extreme release of the middle-aged man's psychology! (Hehe, it’s just a reverie, I haven’t reached that point yet)
3. In addition, have you noticed the section where Yanmen and his friends left the hotel (it seems that there are many beauties serving places) to the slaughterhouse after receiving the information The director deliberately used slow motion and used very ethereal background music. The female voice is full of sadness and helplessness. Is it sympathy for the victim who is about to be killed? Is it an accusation of the organization that created this inhuman activity or a criticism of these wealthy people who pay to kill people in search of excitement? I am more shocked to see this.
Of course, the film is not perfect. For example, compared with the first one, the gender of the three protagonists is simply changed. It also feels that the time is too short. The final ending hastily ended, and the female model is finally calm with a big axe. It is far-fetched to chop off his head alive. The title used by the director of the second part is "Part 2". I don't know what other tricks the screenwriters of the third or fourth part can think of to continue the story of this horror town.
In addition, the release of the film must have a very bad influence on the reputation of the country, I really don't know how people there will feel. At least it will have some negative effects on the tourism industry there!
