The work can be seen as a traditional American heroism film that fights the entire villain force by oneself.
Matt Damon was 30 years old when he joined the cast, and being a powerful actor feels like a big factor in the film's success.
There is not much to say about the plot. On the one hand, when the protagonist accidentally falls into self-lost and hopes to find himself, he has a head-on collision with the villain who performs some shady actions for some ulterior purpose. Tracking, chasing, anti-chasing, fixed-point clearing, gunfights, hand-to-hand combat, car chasing, the traditional American movie elements are basically in it.
The overall pacing and editing of the film are pretty good.
