Why does Spielberg love making commercials so much?
In fact, the whole film is about a question, if the technology can be advanced enough to predict the crime that will happen, should we arrest him in advance, and the film denies such an approach through the three murders in the film.
The first murder in chronological order, the police boss kills the prophet's mother through a loophole in the system, this is the deepest hidden line in the film, this case, as far as I see it, represents the person in power through power and understanding of the system And the crimes committed have also revealed the fact that there is no perfect system.
The second murder is actually a very strange event, that is, the murder occurred because of the existence of foreknowledge, whether it is possible to exist, that is to say, if the ball produced by the foreknowledge does not appear, the crime can cease to exist, Then this ball can also be said to be one of the murderers. Speaking of this, it can actually be found that the foreseeing the future in the movie is not the same as the future. Even the minority report that appeared has denied this. It only pointed out the possibility of the future. If it is changed through future information, then What was the future foreseen at that time? In fact, many film and television works and books have discussed this concept, but it is obvious that the minority report does not cover this point at all, so I will not list it for the time being.
The third murder became suicide, and it was the most direct denial of such a system, that true prophecy does not exist, and what can be predicted and can be changed is not the future at all.
When an exquisite sci-fi idea is wrapped in the skin of a commercial film, I don't think the effect is very good. The whole movie Tom is more like a tool person, without reflection on the system and without distinctive character characteristics, it just happened. Things move forward, when a tool man manipulated by the plot.
There are also those abrupt twists created for the sake of plot conflict. Aside from the sci-fi concept in the movie, I don't think this is a good movie in the true sense.
