A heroic film of impersonal heroism

American movies have always liked individual heroism, but the film "Men in Black" can be said to do the opposite.

Edward, played by Will Smith, was spotted by MIB's old K because he could catch up with aliens on foot and invited him to join the team. During the interview, the leaders in other military fields with Edward always thought that MIB was a place where you could be "something", and they looked down on Edward, but they were all rejected because MIB was a place where you could be "nobody". . (I forgot to call J's original name Edward, so I went to check it out, and Edward disappeared perfectly in the audience's mind)

J

Eliminating fingerprints, eradicating birth information, erasing traces of life on Earth for the first 20+ years, Edward became J. From this moment he can no longer be a hero, the moment of amnesiacs, he is just the most nobody among thousands of people.

The bitter fruit is borne by oneself, and the good deeds are unknown. This really requires super dedication and the courage to sacrifice one's life for mankind. Really, it's not American, it's very Chinese.

The Milky Way is the pendant of the alien prince, and the Earth is the marble that the aliens play with. Humans are so insignificant, but such insignificant humans have saved the galaxy. Countless small human beings carry the burden for each other, and the human society will have light.

The smallness of human beings lies in their smallness, and the greatness of human beings also lies in their smallness.

The movie has 4 and a half stars in my heart, and 5 stars is because I love Will Smith so much. After watching the movie, I was impressed by the charm of his characters, and I fell down under his suit pants.

Men in Black quotes

  • Jay: Zed, don't you guys ever get any sleep around here?

Zed: The twins keep us on Centaurian time, standard thirty-seven hour day. Give it a few months. You'll get used to it... or you'll have a psychotic episode.

  • Kay: Set for pulsar level five, subsonic implosion factor two.

    Jay: What?

Kay: Just shoot the damn thing on the count of three!
