Between reality and reality

Beginning with the appearance of Keanu Reeves, I thought it was a heroic movie where the savior rebelled against the computer, but I didn't expect it to be a replacement for the machine age. Humanity, the so-called rebellion, is nothing but a tool used by the machine age.

When we discover that the world is nothing but program code written by a computer, and everyone is actually lying in a petri dish, with consciousness wandering in the virtual world, what does it feel like? How to distinguish the real from the fake in the world, isn't the fake to the real? In other words, the person lying in the petri dish has never experienced the real, how can they know what is fake.

Sometimes I wonder if the existence of human consciousness counts as living? Just like in "Black Mirror", the death of a person's body can extract his consciousness, and put his consciousness into a doll and a pendant, as if he did not die. Then go a step further and put their consciousness into the body of the poor after the rich die. This will be a world with more rigid classes. The rich live forever, and the poor are not worthy of consciousness.

If you live well in the virtual world, even if you know you are living a false life in a petri dish, are you willing to resist? I don't think so. Suffering makes people struggle.

In the computer age, they are also constantly seeking reform and innovation, trying to stay in control forever. But in the era of human domination, aren't they also eager for this world and doing a series of transformative actions! Nothing and no era is eternal. So, when will the age of computers die? What will the third era be? We will wait and see.

It turns out that 1 and 2 are a director and a screenwriter. What happened in the past few years? It’s not that an American movie talks about hope, love, and never give up, so the audience can be moved.

Although some dull preaching and completely unnecessary ML made the second foreplay somewhat procrastinated, but a few fighting scenes, especially drag racing scenes, still made the climax violent and exciting.

The Matrix Reloaded quotes

  • Merovingian: You see there is only one constant. One universal. It is the only real truth. Causality. Action, reaction. Cause and effect.

  • Persephone: They come from a much older version of the Matrix, but like so many back then they caused more problems than they solved. My husband saved them because they are notoriously difficult to terminate. How many people keep silver bullets in their gun?
