If you like rugby and you happen to like stunned jokes (the two interests are usually mixed), this kind of small production film is the best entertainment on Friday night. A group of ruffians have mixed up on the professional football field: the center is a Japanese sumo wrestler, the guard is from the gang, the Kicker is an English football hooligan, the LineBacker is a lunatic, and the Wild Receiver is a thief. The only reasonably normal quarterback is from Ohio State. Ohio State University is a strong football school, but the quarterback has always been a dispensable role because there are too many people on the court. The funniest thing is the cheerleader: they have hired a group of stunners from the strip club who can only dance...the result is predictable. The coach of our San Diego team was furious: "Keep them from shaking their ass for two minutes!"
But the magic is that in order to ensure that this film gives people a wonderful sense of reality, so that the contrast is more prominent, the film is hired. A decent commentator for the NFL. All venues, atmosphere, tactics and strategies have been carefully planned. Those who love rugby will probably burst into tears because of some of the proficient "black talk". The plot is very simple: NFL professional players have gone on strike, and this group of filthy people are drawn to the court to make up the number. In the beginning, several troublemakers were tearing down each other's stage, and the absurd formations on the court made the professional commentators dizzy. Take the words of the team's investors: "A group of feces fighting monkeys in the zoo have better rules than them." The narrator is not a missed interruption: this is the second time their team member has been brought down by his own tonight...
After the jokes got into the game, they suddenly felt that the friendship between the buddies could be sublimated to the next stage. Later, he actually played his best, not bad. This film is a designated supporting role, so the few gangsters in it are like TOM cats, jumping up and down dazzling. The leading actor Keanu Reeves has always chosen films with a careless attitude. He himself is also the main character of Xianyunyehe, so I am happy to make up the number in this film. A little romantic plot between him and the heroine is sandwiched in this farce, just like a pair of high school lovers, simple and cute. Fortunately, this film didn't intend to pretend to be romantic at all.
The ending is naturally predictable: among the victorious crowd, the handsome Keanu Reeves is holding his cheerleader girlfriend, and everyone is happy. The scene is banal, but Disney is extremely good at bringing out a touch of emotion with childish lightheartedness. The ending song expresses the idea of the film: we are all insignificant little people, but every ant has his time to be proud. I can be a hero, for just one day...
