only feelings

I have always disliked cartoons, especially such old films. Visually, they may have been ahead of their time at that time, but now I see it a little bit less interesting, because this series is mainly for children, so the plot is simple , the ending is happy. What surprises me is that there are a lot of tribute shots in this Toy Story 2, such as Barbie dolls, dinosaur crash tributes to Jurassic World, and the most interesting thing is that I am your dad tribute to Star Wars, these add to the movie. Lots of things to watch.

I really liked the characterization of this movie. The repairman, when he was repairing Woody, well portrayed his obsession with repairing toys, from when he opened the repair box until he took out the reading glasses, and finally put Woody's angle in place, which is meticulous, attentive, serious, and obvious. There are not many descriptions of this old man, but from this short paragraph, we can see that the director's excellent skills in portraying characters also imply the meticulousness and seriousness of Americans in doing things and their dedication to art. Corresponding to him is the action and exaggerated expression of the toy store owner, the villain of the whole film, and the ugly face of capitalism.

The beginning of the story is meaningful and makes sense. The relationship between a toy and its owner is a process from being pampered to abandoning. This process enables these toys to have their own lives and their own love and hatred. Just like the cowgirl in the film used to be the little girl's favorite toy, but the little girl grew up, she began to care about other things, the toys on the table began to become cosmetics, with the greenness of adolescence and the bud of love, Going out to college, moving house, getting married and honeymoon in the future, childhood toys are no longer the object of her concern, they can only lie under the bed full of dust, or be bought on the second-hand market. This episode is sad, but inevitable.

Toys in childhood used to be our companions and emotional sustenance, and as we grow up, it is inevitable that we will be farther and farther away from childhood toys. For us, toys are only a part of childhood, and in toys, it is only us, and its whole world is only us. The value of the existence of toys is not for themselves, they belong only to children in body and mind, and they will never betray. In contrast, people's attitude towards toys is much worse. Toys are irreplaceable in children's childhood, and childhood affects our life. As a result, this story about toys, the emotion of toys, has become very three-dimensional. This is what we have all experienced, and we have a strong sense of substitution.

In fact, if you think about it, there are a lot of things this movie wants to express. Children are happy to watch it, and adults can see who they used to be. The success of the film is here. It captures that point and makes audiences of all ages. You can find resonance in it. The first is about jealousy and ego, this one is about choices and loyalty in life. The third one I haven't seen yet, the Toy Story series is, in all fairness, one of the best animated film series in the world.

Toy Story 2 quotes

  • Woody: [Voice box] There's a Snake in my Boot.

[This catches the Attention of a Man in the corner at the Yard Sale, who picks Woody up, and glances at him, the camera covers his face up]

Al McWiggin: [Gasps] Original hand-painted face, Natural dyed blanket-stitched vest,

    [Looking at Woody's torn arm]

Al McWiggin: Hmm, a little rip... fixable, if only you had your hand-stitched polyvinyl...

[Spots Woody's hat on the ground, and places it back on]

Al McWiggin: [Overjoyed] A hat, yes I found him! I found him!

  • Stinky Pete the Prospector: [Woody and Jessie have gotten into a fight over who turned the TV on, waking up Al in the process who'd been holding onto Woody's severed arm] Jessie, Woody, stop this at once!

[gasps as he and his box tip over face down, then Jessie and Bullseye push it up again]

Stinky Pete the Prospector: I don't know how that television turned on. But fighting about it isn't helping anything.

Woody: [angrily] If I had both my arms...

Stinky Pete the Prospector: Well the fact is, you don't, Woody. So I suggest you just wait till morning. The cleaner will come, fix your arm...

Woody: And then I'm outta here!

    [Bullseye sulks]

Woody: Oh, no, no, Bullseye, don't take it that way. It's just that Andy...

Jessie: [pets Bullseye and walks away] Andy, Andy, Andy. That's all he ever talks about.
