For the first time in 21 years, I was shocked

It shouldn't be the first time I've watched it. I saw some clips and felt a little familiar, but I couldn't remember the plot of the whole film.

Just watched it for the first time when I was 21 years old.

Really shocked. The film was made in 1996. Although the ideological core is still American, the whole plot and special effects made my scalp feel a little numb.

The part of the president's speech in the play made my eyes wet (no cry, no rebuttal).

Humans are really fragile and insignificant creatures, but we are so weak, and we start a series of infighting. If the aliens are driven away, we may fight again during the recuperation time.

Every story line in the play is clearly explained.

The plot of the last three male protagonists meeting has all the feelings of family and country, as well as the inheritance of human beings.

  • [after Russell crashes his plane into a ship, destroying it and killing himself:]
