On July 2 of a future year, monitoring stations across the United States spotted a massive spacecraft hundreds of miles in diameter approaching Earth. The radio signals from the spacecraft interfered with the signals of Earth's communications satellites and sent several sub-ships up to 15 miles in diameter over major cities on Earth. The alien spacecraft's friends and foes were unknown, and people fell into panic and confusion. When computer engineer David (Jeff Goldblum) deciphers the radio signal sent by the aliens, which is actually a countdown signal to the attack, he manages to notify his ex-wife, Connie, the president's assistant, but it's too late, July On the 3rd, the alien spaceship began to attack the earth, and human civilization suffered a huge blow and disaster in an instant. The president (Bill Pullman) and others evacuated to the military base and directed the air force to counterattack, but it was like hitting a stone with no effect, and the military base was destroyed, only the pilot Steven (Will Smith) managed to lure a man. Make up a paw print. On July 4, 1996, I was at my aunt’s house. After breakfast early in the morning, I delivered the bench and Xiaomi’s children, ONE&TWO, which are two newborn Turkish white cats. At that time, I was still being supervised by my aunt and memorizing words... I just heard the call from the balcony, so I went over and took a look... Haha. The above is a digression. The first time I watched a feature film was in September 1996, with my father and uncle, watching a pirated Chinese DVD from the United States. Excited! (Looking at it now, many details are very interesting. To mock the government, ignore the Congress, ridicule scientists...Haha. One thing is very important. At the time, the US and the international environment were small, and the mainland was actually dispensable.)

It's been a long time since I watched a commercial film and I couldn't find tempo, and I couldn't adapt to the unpredictable calls. The multi-line narrative is fairly safe, and the president's speech is extremely sensational. (It is said that it was even written in the textbook?) But...from the United States saving the world to the American president saving the world, Hollywood, you are very enjoyable...

Independence Day quotes

  • Julius Levinson: [pointing to David's cigar] Oh, so *this* is healthy?

David Levinson: I could get used to it!

  • Gen. Gray: [indicating the glass panel in front of the alien, who has taken control of President Whitmore's mind] Is that glass bulletproof?

    Major Mitchell: No, Sir!

[pull out their guns and starts blasting the alien through the glass]
