Spider-Man Homecoming: The Story of a High School Student and a Godfather in the New Marvel TV Series
Ever since the official announcement of Marvel Studios' collaboration with Sony on Spider-Man before the Civil War, I've been looking forward to this second reboot. Especially after the little spider played by the Dutch brother made a stunning appearance in the civil war.
Holland Brother and Peter Parker are very consistent in form and spirit, just like Downey and Iron Man, they are both tailor-made characters. The Dutch brother is also lucky. The first part of Garfield's Amazing Spider-Man is actually quite successful. If the second part is not a fiasco, there is still a chance to continue. Holland Brother's performance is closer to the real performance, and it also completely frees the character from Garfield's gloomy style. The new collection is also more vibrant with the blessing of Disney Thighs!
but! Ice and Fire said, "But" before it is all nonsense!
But it was also because of the addition of Disney that Spider-Man returned to the MCU, which directly caused the series to completely lose its own characteristics. From the beginning of Ultron to the Civil War, and then to the upcoming Ragnarok, the MCU screenwriters have begun to revise most of the original comics, adapting the heavy and pathetic originals into concise themed scripts, and then by constantly adding gag dialogues , and finally presented on the big screen are comedy popcorn movies. (Logan still doesn't count in the MCU category)
This time the little spider is the same. As the original Marvel's strongest superhero, the little spider can't dig deep into his mind and worldview under this system, but has become a 100% mouth-watering gun. This is obviously different from Tobey Maguire's first Spider-Man.
The phrase "With more power, comes more responsibility" contains infinite power in peace.
The casting of the MCU has always been a genius, and the retired Batman Keaton has shaped the image of the big villain in an extremely limited amount of time. It even makes the audience feel good about this role, and the most exciting scene in the whole film is the confrontation in the car played by Peter and the villain played by Keaton. The performance of the old drama bone and the Dutch brother in just a few minutes is intriguing enough.
Due to the excessive performance of Peter's mouth-watering attributes, the whole film has a feeling that this is an old joke. Even many episodes that could show Peter's identity and lifestyle have been taken with various low-level jokes, and even moved out of the US team to tell the jokes to assist in the show. Under the leadership of Tony Toddgang, the master of Marvel's "Deyun Society", the whole movie has a feeling of watching cross talk. If the previous civil war was an out-of-the-box performance with stars, this film is Xiao Yueyue's personal special.
In addition, the action scenes in the whole film are relatively limited, and the special effects scenes are relatively concentrated. Compared with the second part of The Amazing Spider-Man, the overall special effects level is obviously less. And the quality of special effects is also very general. In addition to the iron man model, the action scenes of the little spider and the villain have a strong sense of animation. In the second landing scene of the villain, there is a very obvious broken frame and action jump between taking off the equipment and walking down the steps. It is estimated that Sony itself still has a mentality of testing the waters. It did not spend more money on investment, and it did not have enough energy to perfect all the projects in the short period from the first appearance of the Civil War to the launch of the independent film. This may also be the reason why the whole film uses a lot of jokes to piece the time together.
In short, this little spider reboot is amazing at first glance, but it is not excellent. Sony needs to work harder on the polishing of the script. Of course, this still needs to happen under Kevin Feige's MCU master script. In fact, the two things I worry about the most in the whole film, the first worry is that the iron man will say in the film "the greater the ability of a person, the heavier the responsibility", of course, fortunately, it did not happen. The second is to worry that Uncle Keaton will suddenly say "I am Batman!" in his throat, of course it will not happen!
In addition: There are many fans on the YouTube who have further interpreted the story line and timeline of the film. The "eight years later" clearly marked in the subtitles in the main film indicates that the story of this film is very likely to take place beyond the current MCU universe time. In 2020, the main line of the MCU is very likely to expand in a new direction during the artificially created gap of several years, and even the follow-up Spider-Man series may be a story that happened before this story.
