Before watching "Rogue One", I heard that the film has a good reputation, so I'm still looking forward to it. I am not a fan of Star Wars. I have seen the prequel trilogy many years ago, and I only know roughly the entire Star Wars storyline. I haven't seen the first part of the original, so I don't have a special resonance with the Death Star, Princess Leia, and R2D2. But after watching it, I was a little disappointed. The Star Wars series is definitely not my thing.
I always felt like I was watching a WWII movie, not Star Wars. Uniforms, queues, dashboards full of buttons and switches, fighter jets, tanks, armored vehicles, bombs, submachine guns, grenades, disks, …
When Galen came on stage, I was taken aback. Isn't this the big villain Casillas in Doctor Strange with his smoky makeup removed, and he doesn't even need to change his clothes or hairstyle.
What happened to Galen's wife? Don't be so proactive. Shouldn't she hide with the little girl?
Why did the villain directly kill Galen's wife? Isn't this an important hostage to force Galen into submission?
In the holographic letter sent by Galen, why is it so long-winded, isn't it bad to give key information directly?
Imperial bases are too easy to invade.
The Death Star is almost finished, what strategy is the rebel army trying to assassinate Galen at this time? Shouldn't he be captured alive for information?
The core engineer team of the Death Star was only a few people, and was killed by the villain inexplicably. Don't you need to keep core talents? In the future, the products still need them to fix bugs and improve!
Of course, the special effects of this film are really good. Robots are very hilarious. Donnie Yen and Jiang Wen have no sense of disobedience in this film.
