In an era of the collapse of the republic system and the collapse of the Jedi Knights, since Palpatine reorganized the Galactic Republic into the Galactic Empire with the so-called new order , under the high-pressure rule of the Galactic Empire, the uprisings of the people increased and various uprising organizations were formed. Among them is the Rebel Alliance led by Mon Mothma ( Ginny Weaver O'Reilly ) . Various resistance activities have forced the Galactic Empire to take various countermeasures to suppress the uprising, and the most violent and iron-clad way is to fight the Space Station Death Star. Jean Erso ( Felicity Jones ) is a very sassy girl. After falling into the hands of the Rebel Alliance, Mon Mothma took a fancy to Jean Erso and chose her to steal the Death Star blueprint. So she assembled a team to carry out this special mission together.
