This film tells the story of a father who, in order to rescue his beloved daughter, who was a cardamom, from the Eastern European prostitution group, ran from the United States to France, investigated and tracked all the way, people blocked the murder, the Buddha blocked the Buddha, and killed dozens of kidnappings. After the relevant people, he finally successfully rescued his daughter, and it ended in a happy ending. Of course, this big reunion is only for the protagonists. After reading it, I suddenly felt strange, what did Luc Besson want to tell us? Should violence be overcome? Or satirize the corruption of some government officials, or warn many girls not to run around, France is not all romance? If the film were set in a less developed country in our impression, such as Thailand, Indonesia, or even Russia, I am afraid it would not have touched the audience as much. I think what Luc Besson wants to say is not how disappointed he is with France and how hopeless he thinks the country is, but what is missing from the law no matter how good it is. At this time, we need to use other means to defend our rights and protect our own rights and interests. their own relatives, including the use of violent means. Even in a democratic developed country with a long history like France, there is still no perfect system, there are still loopholes in the law, there are still flaws in the system, and there is still the ugly and dirty side under the glossy exterior.

Although it was released in 2008, I only enjoyed it in early 2010. What a coincidence, when I watched this film, it was at the time when Chongqing was in full swing. Although my city is thousands of miles away from Chongqing, I rarely encountered gangs like the underworld in my life, so I couldn’t feel it. These gangs have brought all kinds of things to most people, but judging from the content published in various media, the people of Chongqing are very firm in their support for cracking down on gangsters.
No matter what the purpose of Prince Bo's actions in Chongqing, the result is beneficial to the masses in Chongqing, and the result is correct. But the recent media frenzy about the Li Zhuang case made it difficult for me to understand the intentions of legal experts. It is ridiculous to say that Li Zhuang is also a lawsuit stick. For a certain gangster, a big gangster acts as a defense lawyer. The character of this fellow is unknown, but it seems that he is very capable, otherwise people would not invite him. After some effort, the situation took a turn for the worse, and the underworld boss was transformed into an innocent victim and a serious businessman. Why? Where did lawyer Li get strong evidence against the defendant, and this evidence seems to be a headache for the Chongqing police. But the situation reversed again, and Li Zhuang was arrested for perjury. A defense lawyer was arrested in the process of defending, coupled with the special background of the case, all of a sudden, conspiracy theories and frame-up theories were all over the place. Lawyers all over the country jumped up as if their butts were on fire, shouted in the media, and cheered for Li Zhuang. Some of them went to Chongqing and visited Li Zhuang like a brother from a triad boss; some even stood up for Li Zhuang and wanted to serve as his defense lawyer. They emphasize procedural justice, emphasize the construction of the rule of law, and hypocritically sigh about the shortcomings of China's legal system. This situation is like telling Chongqing, telling the whole country: We lawyers are not easy to mess with, we represent the law, and we have privileges.

It's ridiculous, the so-called spokespersons of these laws seem to have disappeared without a trace during the forced demolition, hide-and-seek, Deng Yujiao and other incidents. They may not have seen the take, they may really think that there is a perfect system in the world, or they are really perfectionists. So they feel that since you are right, you should be right, and even if their brother is wrong, there should be procedural justice and fairness in the rule of law. Procedural justice, a word that appeared very frequently in the Li Zhuang case, seems so hypocritical to me. my country's legal system is not perfect, the rule of man is more than the legal system, and there are many laws that need to be improved. Then should we wait until the legal system is perfected, and then gradually deal with people and things that violate the law in accordance with the law? A director from a developed democracy like Luc Besson still understands the imperfection of the law and what it takes to deal with it. Our barristers and jurists ignore it. They don't think about how to find loopholes in the law and make up for it, but they insist on occupying the commanding heights of the law and ignore the interests of the common people.

Fucking procedural justice, there are so many things in the country, there is no justice from beginning to end, if the government can achieve justice results in everything, I am afraid it will already be the square of a harmonious society!

I have written so much inexplicably, am I also bored?

  • Kim: Where are we?

    Bryan: I told you. It's a surprise.

    [Sheerah opens the door]

    Sheerah: Hi.

    Bryan: Hi.

[Kim stares at Sheerah, stunned to meet her face to face]

Bryan: [chuckles] When someone says 'hi,' it's usually polite to say 'hi' back.

    Kim: H-Hi.

  • Bryan: Really? Who's Beyoncé?

    [pause]

    Bryan: Just kidding.
