Imagine a movie that has Kubrick's grand theme, it has a more perfect story frame than "Mountains of Madness", its wild and eerie scenes seem to be taken directly from Lovecraft's mind, and it uses four entire classics to do it. Foreshadowing, it's almost impossible to expect more, but it satisfies you - and then - disappoints you utterly. I really wish lovecraft would come out of the grave and rewrite the script, you think all the details but only part of it to create a mysterious atmosphere is completely different from thinking only about the part and expecting someone else to figure it out, Mr. Scott.

Being dragged all the way by a senior, he hurriedly sat down on the theater sofa and looked at the screen for 20 minutes before realizing that we were visiting Prometheus. . . This is really a big fusion. It incorporates a lot of movie elements from a while ago, such as human-beast hybrids, watchmen, aliens, super battleships... the theme is already very helpless, it can’t beat ordinary people, and philosophy has gone too far. Too deep, and the transition is hard. It’s hard to say it’s a good movie

Young Shaw: [on the ship, Prometheus, David checks on the crew who are in hypersleep, he gazes upon Shaw and sees what she's dreaming of, which is from her childhood when she is with her father in a foreign land looking at a funeral procession] What happened to that man?
Shaw's Father: He died.
Young Shaw: Why aren't you helping them?
Shaw's Father: They don't want my help. Their God is different than ours.
Young Shaw: Why did he die?
Shaw's Father: Sooner or later everyone does.
Young Shaw: Like mommy?
Shaw's Father: Like mommy.
Young Shaw: Where do they go?
Shaw's Father: Everyone has their own word; heaven, paradise. Whatever it's called, it's someplace beautiful.
Young Shaw: How do you know it's beautiful?
Shaw's Father: Cause that's what I choose to believe. What do you believe, darling?
[at that point David comes out of watching he dream]
