Just an ordinary police movie

I haven't read the introduction before, but I saw Bruce Willis and Richard Gere. I expected to see a good show of a duo showdown. It seemed to develop in this way at the beginning. It is rare for Bruce to play a contradiction. His shrewd and ruthless killer was very popular at first, and a series of prelude work went on like a waltz in constant changes. The police, who behaved like a frog at the bottom of a well, are destined to be another dialogue of personal grievances. When I saw the two meet on the dock, I was a little excited.
As a result, the trend changed sharply after that, and the many foreshadowings in the front actually brought out the weakness of the plot behind. After some temptation, the final battle soon ushered in. Seeing Richard Gere, the sniper, holding a pistol and Bruce chasing in the subway, I was speechless. The ending is a complete copy of the general clichés of police and gangster movies. Bruce died just like that, which is somewhat disappointing.
Compared with "Stealing Fire", which is also a duel between two heroes, this film is completely incomparable. The two characters themselves are pale and weak, especially Richard Gere. Just like a decoration, the plot is also nothing new, and it is really mediocre. .
The only surprise was that the female major who had originally thought to develop with Richard Gere died halfway through.

The Jackal quotes

  • Ghazzi Murad: [as Koslova is trying to arrest him] Fuck you, fuck YOU! You scar- faced CUNT! *FUCK YOU*!

  • Terek Murad: [Sadly] My poor brother, how many militia did you kill?

Vasilov: [Nervously] You have to understand, there were 50 of them. Plus the Americans...

Terek Murad: [Abruptly] Yes, yes, but how many did you *kill*?

    Vasilov: [Quietly] None.

Terek Murad: [Incensed] None? Not even *one*?

Vasilov: [Protesting] Please, Terek. I did what I could.

    [Jumps to his feet]

Terek Murad: [Mockingly] You did what you could? You did what you could. Letting those militia pigs and their American scum kill my brother, without killing even one in return. Okay, that is what *you could do*, and this is what *I* CAN DO!

[Snatches an ancient axe off the wall and smashes it into Vasilov's skull]
